Social Service Support

The Social Work Program involves working closely with Friends to provide Educational Coordination and Case Management services to our Achievers and families who may need it. 

Educational Coordination

Our Educational Coordination is comprised of providing our Achievers and families to the appropriate academic channels and resources. We assist the Achievers in transferring out into schools more appropriate to their needs. When necessary, we connect them to psycho-educational evaluations, Individualized Educational Plan assessments, and gifted and talented testing. 

Case Management

Creating a Growth Plan:

We work with our 112 Achievers to engage them in self-evaluation.  They create a Growth Plan in conjunction with their Friend and Clinical and Education Director. We ask them to choose goals each year, then we compile this information and share it with caregivers and teachers in the hopes that they will become a part of the implementation process. 

Making Referrals:

Our in-depth case management consists of crisis intervention and referring our Achievers and families to organizations specializing in education, housing, healthcare, mental health, legal services, and preventative services (when necessary). Each referral is closely tracked to assure that a smooth connection is established and maintained.
